Zidane is a hero. All of the French team have played like total warriors! You are fantastic. I’m so sorry that the Itlians had to be so low. I really believe that you are the victors.

Best wishes to you all!

There is no question that French team was so much better than the Italian team! You would have to be blind not to see it! Italians were just plain lucky when it came to penalty kicks!

“Zidane is a midfield general. He has the best ball control ever.”

Beautifully said Chima. Almost poetic.

Zidan is best player ever i see.
Zidan also be better footballer than Maradona.Because Maradonas best football show only one turnament that is 86 world cup.
But zidan played brilliant football in 1998 WC, 2000 European Cup, 2006 WC
so it is clear that zidan is great.I never Compare him with pele because i never see him live footballl. So zidan is great

“The italians are always lucky”
That’s funny obviously people who make comments like this haven’t been watching the world cup and euros for the past 24 years. Does anyone remember France 98…France..penalty shoot-out…DiBiagio hits the bar…France goes on to the semis…ring a bell..how about Euro 2000…1 minute left…Wiltord sneaks one past Toldo to tie the game…what about Euro 2004…same deal France show up in the last minute to beat England…and oh yeah the World Cup 2006 final Toni hits the bar and has a goal called back on a tight off-side call..and let’s not mention Malouda’s penalty. If anyone should praise the luck Gods, it’s France..Italy has finally had a little bout of good fortune after 24 years and everybodies up in arms..GET OVER YOURSELVES ALREADY and GET OVER ZIDANE..He’s gone!
