Anelka Wants a Return to Arsenal?

I guess Bolton and France striker Nicolas Anelka couldn’t possibly stay at a team for more than a year without getting wanderlust. (Just for the record, he’s played for seven clubs to date.)

In an interview that’s sure to impress current manager Sam Allerdyce at Bolton, Anelka told the French TV show Telefoot that he would love to return to Arsenal. Said Nicolas: “”Coming back to Arsenal would by great. They are a great club who are solid and serious. Arsene Wenger is one of the best coaches in the world, and I can’t hide that the club marked my life forever.”

So in other words, let’s just kind of forget about all of the fireworks that you created last time you were at Arsenal, right, Nicolas? Like the time you said, “It’s impossible for me to stay in England. With Arsenal, I’ve finished forever”?

I’m sure the fans, staff, press and management have completely gotten over it.

Still, though? The thought of Anelka and Henry playing for the same Club?

Ooh. I just got goosebumps.
