Give the French national team a philosophy of ambition, risk-taking, positive open play — instead of cowardice.

Look at the entire gamut of wonderful talent your country possesses and USE it.

Learn to make France and its non-French supporters PROUD.

Hello all: I was on vacation in Brazil with family last week and was offline most of the time. On Friday I logged onto a cousin’s PC just to check out the latest football news and read about the FFF’s decision.

Yes, I was struck by the staggeringly stupid decision but, unfortunately, not at all surprised.

Something told me that politics–Domenech’s favored position in the hierarchy of French football–would trump good common sense. I know how guys like Deschamps are looked upon by these FFF suits, I just didn’t believe they were clearsighted enuf to open up their pathetically blinkered minds and put away their prejudices for the good of French football. I thought all the talk of Deschamps or Tigana or anyone else like that was just pie in the sky stuff. I was desperate to be proven wrong.

Now I’m torn between wanting to see France fail under Domenech and wanting him not to destroy any hopes of France getting to the 2010 wc. Tho if that means just going out in pathetic fashion in the early stages of the tournament like at the Euros last month, better not to qualify at all.

And as for the likes of Ben Arfa, Ribery, Benzema backing him….thanks fellas for putting your own careers ahead of your country’s ambitions.

ok so maybe he is a little short of in form attacking players but that line up is still very good. Oh why cant ribery be a triplet.

By the Euro 2112 their average age will be 134 years old! Wow.

Please don’t make ridiculous line-ups anymore, like putting Henry alone in front, and send Gomis to home, I never want to see him back, no instead use the talented players.

I want to see the young talented players, like Ribery, Benzema and Nasri. Okay, keep some old players. Henry can stay, though he underperformed, and recall Trezeguet. But they will to old for the World Cup though

Use the best players available, keep your system simple, play attacking football, but keep it steady at the back.

If you don’t mind, you may also suggest to the FFF a new coach that might manage Les Bleus to their fullest potential. If you are at a loss as to who might continue your brilliant tenure here, may I suggest a few names–one of which is Didier Deschamps?
