He was the top scorer I think in the U-18s, and has always been compared to Anelka, his boyhood idol in everything except attitude (though Nico's obviously improved on that). I'll admit I haven't seen him enough to make an opinion on whether he will indeed be a star in the national team, but almost everything I've looked at online says he's had a terrific second half of this season. Then again, too many of my Bordeaux friends have convinced me that Henri Saivet is the "face of the future" up front, but he's years away (he's only 16).
