France-Colombia Videos

For those who weren’t able to see the game (or for those who were but want to go through it again,) some fun videos.

The first appears to be a home video. Incredibly sweet and fun. Looks like a father and a son enjoying the game together. This one was enjoyable for me because I was at Stade de France a couple of months ago, so I enjoyed the exterior shots.

And here’s the foul, and the penalty.

And finally, for francophones, post-game player reactions. Nothing terribly earth-shattering here, (Henry has the profound observation that a win is better than a draw or a loss) but fun to watch. Thierry Henry talks about the match, and about not scoring on his 100th cap. Willy Sagnol reflects on the possible formation Domenech will use against Romania (basically he’s not sure), among other things, and Lilian Thuram talks about yesterday’s game and the upcoming match against Romania (and says Mutu is a good player.) They also ask him which is the easiest group in Group C, and he gives the obvious answer that there isn’t one and it’s stupid to think othewise.
