France Fans, Who Will Start at Leftback?

It’s getting down to the wire.

The last tweaking for the team will take place in the friendlies that start next week. (Remember: Tuesday vs. Colombia, Saturday vs. Ecuador, and the following Tuesday vs. Paraguay.)

So let’s talk about who we want to see on the team. Our latest poll: Who do you want to see starting at leftback? The three options I’m seeing are Eric Abidal (Barcelona), Julien Escude (Sevilla), and Patrice Evra (Manchester United).

Speaking from experience, groin injuries are much less funny once you’ve had one. Un. Pleasant. Anyhow, I would give the nod to Abidal, but Evra is certainly a nice option to have from the bench. They’re both fantastic defenders.

Evra is the best of the three in my opinion. What almost makes me want to see us lose is that with a new manager, clichy and evra would be called up ahead of abidal as should be. same goes for sagna instea of clerc

voted evra. don’t know WHO’s voting for abidal…!?! but then, perhaps they’re misreading it as “who’s most likely to start”… which sadly is probably abidal…
