France Fun: Car-Diving
Thought you’d enjoy these Toyota videos, one for each France opponent in Group C. In each, the words are a version of, “I didn’t touch it, he took a dive, etc.”
First Italy.
Then the Romania one:
And the Netherlands:

The Italy one is lame. Maybe they could have done one for Henry and Malouda’s diving?
This prevailing perception is retarded. The French are no better than anyone when it comes to embellishments.

I can’t believe they actually made commercials based on that.
Like I said. Lame and cheap humour.

squiggy, dont ignore the truth, italians are cheap divers who resort to 10 man defense in the box to win games. here is proof:

I agree with you Squiggy on the fact that French players are also guilty of faking at times. But it is also a fact that every country has players that do that. And I just accept it because over a period of time it just evens out.

I doubt the point of the ad is to say Italy, Netherlands and Romania players are cheaters. The reaction of the guy, the whining and the gestures, is about as funny as the car rolling.

Set, I agree with you. It’s just so typical of on-the-field behavior, and that’s true regardless of team.

OT: So has Vieira been dropped, or has Flamini been sent back? And when is the deadline for that? News has totally slipped my radar.

Inara, that decision will be made Monday afternoon, after Vieira has been examined by Les Bleus’ medical staff.

It would have funnier if the Dutch commercial involved a caravan. :p

The Italy one is wicked, he doesn’t even touch the car, and the car just waits for the referee not to look to roll.
I guess similar adverts could be made in Italy about France, so I don’t mind those adverts.
