Miss France (Euro 2008) Needs You!

We’ve focused on difficult, thought-provoking things recently, like friendlies and injuries and starting choices. So today let’s have a little fun.

Who Ate All the Pies is holding a vote-off between the Miss Euro entrants of various countries. Miss France (left) is up today, against…brace yourself…Miss Italy (right). And Miss France is losing. Badly.

I believe it is because Miss France looks sweet and wholesome, and Miss Italy is thrusting out her chest. The slut.

But you, our readers, are not fooled by these things. You know who the real winner in this competition should be.

So stop by the site and vote for Miss France.

This is a case where I’d have to put politics completely to the side: Miss Italy lights my fire.

  • sandrahn

um…hate to say it…not liking the Italian national team and everything…but I can see why Miss Italy is winning the contest. :-(

  • Doumé

I really like brunettes, and yes Miss Italy is stunning.
But I just melt for a real genuine smile, so without knowing who was whom, I had already decided for that sweetheart Miss France.

  • Julian

I have to admit, one looks hot but completely fake, the other genuine but nowhere near attractive (in the image of their respective countries..that was low). How about Miss Romania?

  • diamond_cutter

    italy….wins

  • Julien

Yeah “wholesome” doesn’t cut it in a beauty pageant…. If France used Laetitia Casta as miss france, THEN we’d win hands down!

Who could disagree after that pic :-)

  • borgduck

    Vive La France.

  • http://lille.theoffside.com/ Julien

I’m French, but I have to say the Italian is nicer. By they way, nice to see so many people with my name posting comments here. Julien is such an uncommon name in the U.S. and especially when it is spelled the French way with an ‘e’ instead of an ‘a’.

    COMPLETELY OFF-TOPIC:

The next time you hear that bullshit about the French…supposedly not being “grateful” enuf to the USA, tell that person about this organization, the Flowers of Memory:

i voted for france out of national pride but even i have to admit, miss italy is hotter. but that could be because i prefer brunettes.

    …or sluts.

  • Julien

to other julien: yes, it gets annoying when people constantly write my name with the A… got used to it though ;-)

So yeah i’ll first go out with the miss Italy one… but when she goes off and cheats on me (she seems like the mean type) for Canvaro, i’ll learn from my mistakes and settle with the miss france, the wholesome nice girl!

Leftur – ” but even i have to admit, miss italy is hotter. but that could be because i prefer brunettes. …or sluts. ”

    LMAO

oh my god, i can’t breathe, lol.

Miss Italy is contesting in the European Cup while miss France in National… no?

    Lefutur said it all.

  • Julian

hemm…Sorry about the way my mom spelled my name, she’s American- My dad’s French though, but he didn’t get to choose that one.

    Italy wins this one ;)

So typical of Italy. They can’t win against the boys, but at least the girls can bring home a trophy for them.
