I think if Germany can impose a fairly fast pace to the game, we’re in for a good one. But I think Spain plays the midfield too well to let them do that – I think it’s going to be a battle to find lanes. Should be good anyway.

Doume, he sings and plays guitar in a Celtic band with a couple of friends. Lots of good Irish drinking songs with the occasional ballad thrown in. They’re in great demand on St. Patrick’s Day.

To keep this on topic, I think i’m rooting for Spain for all the reasons everybody’s mentioned. Plus they beat Italy, so there will always be a warm spot in my heart for them, despited Aragones. But I don’t feel strongly about this — I’d be pretty much okay with Germany too. As long as the game isn’t boring!

i just want spain to win for the simple reason that
they have great tactical players and they play pure offensive football.
i hate aragones, but eh the coach doesnt make the team…
germany is just…big guys kicking the ball from 45 meters out, hoping it goes in the net…

I have no emotions with either Germany or Spain. But because Germany already has won thrice I want Spain to win. Don’t want Germany two ahead of France in # of trophies.

I keep my fingers crossed for the Mannshaft. If theiy play their full potential, they are 53 over 47 % with regard to Spain.

And you know their fighing spirit if it really is up for grabs !

I’m rooting for Germany. Aragones is a less than admiral coach, but that is well trodden material. For me I feel that Germany got goosed 2 years ago with really late goals when they played a great game (may be a memory lapse on my part, but I feel they deserved to be in the final). This is where I pull out the 1/4 german card since I’m not spanish.

People in Spain don’t even like Aragones so it seems we are all on the same page. I’d like to see Torres have a field day on the German defense. Its been a frustrating tournament for him and I would like for some of his Liverpool form to show up to silence his critics. It should definitely be a good match, both teams know how to score and in the end thats all that matters.
