I don’t think the backline should be tinkered with for this game, but in the future, I’d like to see Clerc and Evra in for extra attacking. I like the 4-4-2 for now, with Toulalan and Makalele playing behind the line, Ribery at LMF and Nasri at RMF. Also, Henry as SS- he is perfect for this role- and Benzema as CF. We need more push in the midfeild. Toulalan is my boy, but he ain’t cutting it at CMF: we need someone to feed the strikers. He’s a holding MF.
I’d also like to see Nasri as AMF- in a 4-2-3-1- behind the strikers, with Ribery on the left and Govou on the right.

I believe that France need to be more confident to take over the game against Holland. Domenech must use his experienced players as well as well as technically offensive players. Evra must play, we have seen him playing for man utd, am not a fans of man utd, but i believe Evra can cause trouble. He is not the kind of player that get intimidated, he has got skills, he is strong, he can run with the ball, and do clever through passes. On the other hand Ribery is a great player, but he needs support from some experienced players, not only kids. Before we had zidane, so zidane could stay to maintain the shape and Ribery would create the danger on the opponent’s side. But now its not the case, in the 1st match Ribery could not do much, but its not his fault. I strongly think Domenech needs to get serious about the game, he needs to get Henry, Viera and Evra into the game. Or else it will be too late, and nobody would want to listen to his silly chats and excuses. Domenech needs to get the fuck out of his fantasy world and get real about the game!!!! FUK !! AM PISSED !!!

im very interested in france but i sick of their last game !! it was so nasty!!!! shame on them!!!i hate their stille i hate their play !! they just move the ball !! nothing more!!! i hope they will and mor than that they defeat Italy

I really hope we see something special tonight, but I have a feeling its going to come against the italians. I have a feeling we are going to take them apart in the last game. Anyway, for tonight I really wouldn’t want to mess with the backling considering the way netherlands played against italy, we need experience and rock solid defending. And in that sense I don’t see anyone better than Sagnol-Thuram-Gallas-Abidal. Mid field Makelele – Toualan (wud prefer Viera at 100% but I am sure thats not the case) Up front it has to be Henry substituted later by Benzema. and In the centre Ribery – Nasri (I would love to try Anelka here but don’t think thats possible today) – Govou. What say…?? And Jeff thanks for the Cisse and Trezeguet update.

I think that Dom is up to the same tricks as in the world cup. The only reason they did not win, is that they were unlucky often in the tournament. Astrology affects, whether people want to view it or not. I think it works for him, but not having a star player like Henry makes it hard for the other players to have cofidnece, so players like Nasri, Govou need to play. So when Henry is out they have guys with steam ready. However, I think that Henry will take care of the problems they had agains Romania. He will run at the shakey Dutch and force them to make bad defense. Benzema, Govou would be great support and Riberey should have a better time feeding foward. As far as defense, they need Viera and that is it. Willy Sagnol is a very creative defender and if they want to replace him do it, but leave Abidal in, it is strong, fast, and technically gifted.
