Question is, where will he play? Not sure his game lends to being the lone striker at the top of the formation.

I’m curious about how he fits in, too, but I think his callup is a really good thing. Everybody who reads this blog knows how much I like Anelka, but this team needs some shaking up offensively, and the only way to do it is to try something (or someone) new.

Don’t suppose Domenech would ever go with just one DM?

Sigh. Didn’t think so.

France does seem to be churning out a lot of talented strikers these past several years. I hope that Hoarau can get some playing time but I suspect that Domenech prefers Gignac and may use him as a sub if Benzema isnt performing.
