Ouch! That’s Gotta Hurt! A Clip from September, France-Italy

Since nobody was blogging on this page back in September and it’s a slow news week for Les Bleus as we await the team selection announcement next Thursday, I thought I’d post this video clip from the most recent France-Italy game.

This one hurts me to watch. And I just love the way Govou’s teammates and trainer grab his scalp and shove it back and forth afterwards. I know that’s exactly what I wanted people to do last time I smacked my head!

Govou didn’t remember the goal and Cannavaro had to be carried off on a stretcher, but both finished the game. Let’s hope both gentlemen make enough money in their football careers that they never need to earn a living doing anything requiring brain cells!!

(P.S. How did that game end again? Oh. Right. France 3-1. Heh heh heh.)

lol… wel u cant deny it they ONLY beat them in a Euro Qualifier they were all still drunk from winning the world cup give them some credit

C’mon, Scotland beat France a week earlier (or later? I can’t remember).

Cannavaro in an interview after the game in Paris said the Italians were all out of shape.
