Apparently they had no strikers available so Pirlo and Ambrosini were played up front; Jankulovski and Zambrotta were improvised as mid-fielders; and the Australian(?) goalkeeper was a comic nightmare. Still, it is AC Milan, and even with the injuries and short rest there are some pretty good players on that side ... Hmmm … yes, I see your point, M-O.

But I think Drogba may only miss the first game or two of the EPL season, so I don't know how Scolari will make use of his talents after that.
