Team Updates: Ribéry Out?

Seriously bad news: France may be a hurtin’ team tomorrow. I just read in Sports.fr that Franck Ribéry is also out for tomorrow’s game with a groin strain. I’ll give you an update when I find it.

Govou will be out for 2-3 weeks, Benzema for 6-8. Neither is being replaced for this game. Squillaci was called up to replace Mexes if necessary, but it looks like there’s some chance that Mexes will play. Again, I’ll look for updates today.

Trezeguet played on Saturday for Juventus, so it looks like his injury wasn’t the reason he was left off the list. Unfortunately for David and Juventus, though, he seems to have reaggravated the injury during Saturday’s game and will now be out 2-3 weeks.

Injuries report:
-Mexes injured during the game of AS Roma(it look like serious and i hope he won’t be imprudent).
-Benzema injured during the first 15 min of the game with Lyon.
-Govou, injured.
-Trezeguet,injured(incertain for few matchs).
-Sagnol injured,incertain but perhaps he will could play.
-Ribery(pubalgi absent for at least two months).
-Wiltord and all the lyonnais, very tired, waiting for the mind winter break.
We already know Escudé,Clerc,Evra,Mavuba…
So i wonder what is really the interest of this match? May be to give experience to these youngs players…If they really will play.

As I said before, what’s the point of a friendly in November!?! Is Greece having similar injury issues?
