This is the Place Where You Leave Working Streams and Game Comments

Okay, ladies and gents, it’s up to you. This game is showing up essentially nowhere outside of France. It is your job to find a working stream and post it here.

I’ll get you started. First, check out myp2p.eu. If one of these is working well for you, post the link in the comments. (And I’ll give you double bonus points for commentary in either English or French.)

Then, while you’re watching, stop by this page to give us your thoughts. Game’s at 21h00 local time.

Got it? Good. See you in a few hours.

  • jeanpierre

make an account at some betting site called bet365
dont bet but click on video and than on a button with a + and on that button again and than you see the match

  • Steven

    Has anyone a starting lineup?

Is Vieira in it? Malouda? Who’s up front? And the CBs?

  • http://france.blogsfc.com/ footyjourno93

I’m afraid I can’t post any decent links. Was just wondering if anyone wanted to check out my France v Nigeria preview at: http://france.blogsfc.com/france-v-nigeria-match-preview.html – should hopefully be a decent read for any France fans. Good luck in finding a good stream!!!

I can’t find a working stream but they did show the lineups. Mandanda and Vieira starting. Also Fanni, Escude and Squillaci. Anelka and Benz up front. I’ll keep looking for a working link. Not sure if it’s the links or my computer.

  • jeanpierre

whats written on the back of their shirts??

  • Alex T

    http://www.justin.tv/keeperlive1

did they c gourcuff was injured?

  • http://france.worldcupblog.org laurie

Jeanpierre, it’s a tribute to Louis Braille — their names in Braille. And your link is working well for me — thanks!

If that one doesn’t work for anybody, try this one:

I only see that they got black hair but all france players have black hair except benzema who has no hair

  • glatisant

    mi-temps. crowd booing.

  • Jack

    @Laurie:
    That’s a good thing

  • John

Is it just me, or does Manadanda suck?

  • John

Alou Diarra needs to be in his rightful place: Watching Toulalan from the bench and taking notes!

  • glatisant

    which guys are warming up?
    according to football365 it’s those 3

  • jeanpierre

    @glatisant

ye I saw it 2 secs after I post ma comment :p

i missed ur comment cos u posted it 2 sec before me

  • Doumé

Actually a team that is pretty out of synch. Vieira should go out, this sounds like a tribute more than anything, and let’s bring Jeje Toulalan soon. Remy is ineffective on the right, we should get Gignac or Govou at some point I’d say. From the left there was some very sweet stuff from Ribéry (big surprise there) working with Anelka and Benzema.
The Nigerian goal was a a double side post rebound on the back of Mananda. Don’t get me wrong, I never thought they would be easy customers, but a team like France could and can score 2 against them. Definitely the left side is lore productive with Evra/Ribéry while the right is doing nothing (with Fanni and Remy).
It seems to me some of the faster guys will be coming, hopefully

  • Doumé

oh and if you’re in St Etienne and supporting France, why would you boo Benzema!
    Petty idiots!

  • http://france.worldcupblog.org laurie

I just spent 45 minutes struggling with finding a low-quality stream, only to discover that this is on ESPN Deportes, which I actually have, given that I switched cable providers last week. I could have been watching this in the big screen! It also looks like they may be broadcasting France-Turkey on Friday.

  • glatisant

    jeanpierre: gotcha :)

…spanish commercials are annoying me. mostly cause I can’t understand what they’re saying.

  • http://france.worldcupblog.org laurie

Gignac and Gourcuff and Toulalan! Time to get serious!

  • http://france.worldcupblog.org laurie

Anybody know how the WC qualifier group games have gone?

  • http://france.worldcupblog.org laurie

    Also: I miss Odemwingie.

  • John

Who was warming up? Boumsong, Gouvou and who was the other guy?

  • John

    OMG….Ribery….

  • http://france.worldcupblog.org laurie

Exquisite service from Gignac to Ribery. Too bad Franck couldn’t finish it.

  • http://france.worldcupblog.org laurie

The Spanish announcers discussing “Heremy Toulalan” make me laugh.

  • John

These hispanic announcers are idiots. They don’t know how to pronounce names in any language except Spanish, and are racists to boot.

  • http://france.worldcupblog.org laurie

We are being eaten alive up our right side.

  • Kyle

govou for ribery? you have got to be kidding me.

  • jeanpierre

    why ribery out

  • glatisant

    and are racists to boot.
    Really? What are they saying?

Franck goes off for Sidney Govou.
    This crowd…

  • http://france.worldcupblog.org laurie

Govou getting booed by the St. Etienne crowd. Squillaci down.

  • jeanpierre

omg at that disturbing earrings :s

  • jeanpierre

    france is so not dangerous

  • jeanpierre

    LOOOOOOOOOL TOULALAN YELLOW CARD

    what a dork

  • http://france.worldcupblog.org laurie

Alas, the Nigerian goalkeeper is REALLY good. What club does he play for?

  • jeanpierre

    gourcuff got killed

  • jeanpierre

that noob pulls the shirt of his own (french duh) teammate

  • jeanpierre

    LOL @ TOULALANS SHOT

  • jeanpierre

    :[ odemwingie out

  • jeanpierre

    is benzema dead

  • jeanpierre

o he’s on the bench lol

  • glatisant

    nice tackle.
crowd calls for dismissal of domenech.

  • jeanpierre

    yes only 0-1.

    look at domenechs happy face

  • Alex T

wow i was expecting somethin much greater

  • glatisant

a shot on goal. imagine that.
    and it’s over.

  • Jao

    *sigh*………we’re slowly rotting away.

Also, Alex T, have you seen any of our matches lately? Nothing to expect, really. It is just awful.

  • Alex T

i thought after a few months that things would come together, especially as many of our players of one several titles lately.

  • http://france.worldcupblog.org laurie

Well, that was kind of a letdown. At least it was only a friendly.

  • Jack

Oh my god, my away message was “I’m going to be watching France kill Nigeria”. I look like a fool now.

  • TERRY

Man , I guess I am getting used to see us loose, I don’t really know what it takes to fire someone in France , the coach has got to go,wayyyyyyyy 2 many loses, even if we go to SA we will be back very soon, @ least one good thing Domenech will be gone.

  • John

What a waste of my time. We need to see Lloris in goal. Mandanda is done. Hats-off to Nigeria: they came to play, and were impressive, despite missing their three best players.

  • http://france.worldcupblog.org/euro-2008/this-is-the-place-where-you-leave-working-streams-and-game-comments.html philip

“Sigh” no excuse Nigeria didint even have their best players. I know it was just a friendly, but the only way France can get their confidence back is by winning. P.s Viera is getting old why not Diaby?

  • Jao

It’s really hard to give Nigeria credit when we play like this.

  • Alex T

I’m starting to believe that the real problemis the fans. If they keep jeering their own team the team will lose morale. I mean look at some of them, they look like they play without purpose.

  • lefutur

AlexT, the real problem is the coach. the fans are just reacting to what they see. france haven’t scored a goal in how many games? the tactics and the player selections are all wrong and the coach doesnt motivate the players. these players were on vacation yesterday. what do you expect from the fans who pay good money to watch the team talent go to waste?

  • Steven

Yes, no doubt the fan reaction has a demoralizing effect on the team … but the FFF’s retention of Domenech was pretty demoralizing in itself and really an act of contempt towards the fans. It goes both ways …

  • TERRY

GUYS WHAT WOULD IT TAKE TO GET DOMENECH OUT, i love france, i live to watch that team play since 1978, France 3 Bulgaria 1 I was hooked , I lived in France @ the time, SHOULD FRANCE LOOSE TO TURKEY, WOULD THE COACH GET THE BOOT? Tigana and Giress can take over in a minute, they can’t do worse,I agree Mandanda is good as a proffesional player NOT FOR THE NATIONAL TEAM,TO THINK FREY IS FRENCH WHAT A LOSS,VIERRA 2 OLD ….NEXT,this sucks we have all the ingredients BUT A CHEF TO PUT IT TOGETHER.

  • Steven

Terry, IMHO there’s no chance the FFF will get rid of Domenech unless the NT fails to qualify for South Africa.

Even then … it may take a complete housecleaning of the FFF, which looks to me like it’s the petty fiefdom of its head Jean-Pierre Escalettes; he would more or less be admitting professional failure with the sacking of Domenech; he’s also paranoid about the ‘98 generation who he sees as waiting for any excuse to sweep him aside.

  • TERRY FROM NAPLES FL

Just don’t know what to say THIS IS ME AS A COACH WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK

    FREY
    SAGNA GALLA ABIDAL EVRA

    L DIARRA TOULALAN

    RIBERY MALOUDA

    HENRY GINIGNAC(DON’T KNOW SPELLING)

  • http://spam Jason Dsouza

    Hi Guys,

All World Cup Qualifers this weekend are live on [link removed - spam]. They broadcast official live streaming and it would surely be worth the quality of video.

They have a Promo Pack for France vs Turkey friendly as well. I just purchased my match here: [link removed - spam]

    happy viewing guys!

  • Foreverzidane

The majority of Les Bleus just finished a grueling season of many concurrent tourneys. The energy level will be at it’s peak at Stade de France on Sept 5th 2009, I might try to go again this year.
Think positive we’ve got way too much talent, it’s obvious that DM has lost the dressing room but most of those players will give all they’ve got representing France. Don’t get your hopes up against Turkey either, risking injuries for what? a Friendly?

  • Jao

^^^That’s why Domenech is silly. He calls up all the so called “first choice” players for unimportant friendlies. He could have used these friendlies to evaluate new players, yet he calls up first choice and we don’t show up.

  • Foreverzidane

Jao you make an excellent point!

  • jeanpierre

    @ Jao

Domenech is being freaking selfish, he risks our best players to try to win so he can keep up his job as astrological coach

anyways this: “*sigh*………we’re slowly rotting away. ”
is the truest thing ive ever heard
