Watching France-Uruguay? Leave Streams and Comments

November 19th, 2008 | By: Laurie | 103 Comments »

I am finding noplace to watch this game legitimately in the states, but Myp2p has lots of streams listed. Let’s hope some of them work.

http://www.myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=24161&part=sports

If you find one that’s working particularly well, leave a link in the comments for the rest of us to click on.

And if you’re watching the game, leave comments! It’s a lot more fun to watch these games if we know we’re not watching alone.

It’s official! Here are the starters: France: Lloris – Fanni, Mexès, Gallas, Evra – Vieira, Toulalan – Ribéry, Gourcuff, Henry – Anelka.

Savidan’s desperate to prove himself to Domenech
Silly Sanchez tells the ref where to put the wall and gets booked

Arsenal disease. (I’ve always thought of it as France disease. Same thing.) Beautiful play and complete inability to put it in the net.

Gourcuff is supposed to be the antidote!

i thought eurosport summed it up pretty well:

C’EST FINI ! L’équipe de France finit l’année 2008 par un match nul qui porte bien son nom. Peu d’envie, peu de mouvements, peu d’occasions. Bref, vivement 2009 !

Thanks Jean Pierre.

Arsenal disease, France disease, same thing. Yeah, I thought Gourcuff might help solve it.

You know it’s bad when two most defensive teams in the universe, Italy and Greece, outscore your game by two goals. Sigh.

I think it has to do with the formation. It needs to be more attacking. Anyways i liked Savidan, yeah he tried too hard to impress or score but its better than not trying at all. Not the result I would like but I feel things are working themselves out and hopefully we will have that winning team. I just hope Flamini is part of that team. Oh and we need to keep Lloris as our keeper he is way better than Mandanda.

Yeah, I liked Savidan too. He reminded me of a six-month-old Labrador puppy — all energy and eagerness to impress.

Do you guys think Savidan will get called up again? I agree that he put life into a semi-boring game.

What is hilarious is that so many people were against Savidan being called up, and yet he seems to be the one who impressed the most last night. At the very least, he was the most active attacker.

Well I liked Savidan’s energy. I feel all of our players need to have that kind of drive. He should get called up again, he could be a deadly striker and we all know how badly we need someone to score goals for us. I felt our defense was pretty good. At times it was a little shaky but with Lloris guarding the net and a confident Mexes they got the job done. I still feel that Clerc is our most solid right-back. He may not have the technical skills like Fanny or Sagna but he makes good crosses and has great defense. Seeing Vieira play brought back memories of the past world cup. i love the guy but he has to go. I think that with a couple adjustments here and there the team should be back on their feet. At least we didn’t lose 6 to 2 like portugal did to brazil.
