Spain will be very serious and it will be a tough match, I say the 0-0 kind.

England will want to prove something and show their rough new Italian style of play; not a picnic either! But I feel some of our guys can handle the English play; maybe Anelka will want to display himself.

I just hope the TBA team isn’t Portugal! Could be nice to have a nice offensive fireworks display for the morale! Bring on Andorra!

I am really worried about our defense in the Spain game, especially with Gallas-Thuram in the center, and particularly if Makelele and Vieira are in front of them. (Come on, Toulalan!)

Spain is also the game that I think they have the greatest chance of losing. (Hate to say it, but it’s true.) Of course they could lose any of the others on flukes, and Italy is always interesting, but Spain is an up and coming team and will be an interesting test. I’m glad it doesn’t count for anything.

I would love it if France played Germany in that TBA friendly. They seem to to be the only big team we haven’t come across recently.

Spain is one of the most bipolar teams out there. They have just as much chance at beating us as they do of losing to us spectacularly. Still, their side is having a lot of problems in terms of playing fluidity despite having so many talented names. And France has the advantage in midfield eight days a week.
