A football gypsy

Is Nicolas Anelka up to his old tricks in Istanbul with his present club Fenerbache. This is about his seventh major club and he’s still only 27.
He’s supposed to be injured at the moment with a knee problem but reports in the Turkish media are saying the injury is ‘diplomatic’ and the real reason he’s not playing is because of a fallout with his coach, Christoph Daum.

On past form I’d predict he leaves in the summer with a mid-table English team being dazzled enough to jump in for him only to be disappointed in the long run.
