A no brainer

The Lyon chairman, Jean-Michel Aulas, says he will be opening talks with Sylvain Wiltord about a new contract, his present one expires in the summer.
That’s a smart move even though Wiltord will be 32 in May.

He’s scored nine goals in twentyfive games so far this year and Lyon are clear in Ligue 1 and have a great chance of getting past PSV in the champions league.
Wiltord’s the sort of player who brings a lot to a team and I think he’d be worth another two year deal.
