Cisse: All for show
Djibril Cisse said last week he hoped his performance in today’s FA Cup Final for Liverpool would secure his World Cup spot. Well if I was Raymond Domenech I’d be emailing Cisse saying it’s ok, you can head for the beach.
He scored a goal in Liverpool’s penalty shootout win after they drew 3-3 with West Ham, and it was a decent finish from about seven yards out but apart from that Cisse did nothing. In fact the only thing he put any effort into was his appearance.
He had a new hairstyle picked from the Goodyear and Michelin catalogue’s, one half of his head styled in each of their patterns, started the game in one red boot and one white one and at halftime switched to a luminous yellow pair.
After about seventy minutes and through extra time he would be going down with supposed cramp, then getting up when Liverpool attacked. When they went up to the podium to pick up the Cup he was suddenly pogo-ing around like crazy.
In my opinion Cisse is one of those luxuries you can carry in your squad if you also have a lot of good players who are playing well. If you want someone who’ll commit themselves 110% every game and really pull their weight then Djibril Cisse is one to avoid.

I have to admit Cisse has not fulfilled the promise he displayed at the start of his Liverpool stay. His shaky spells have been longer than goal-scoring exploits. Although Liverpool have won trophies the last 2 years his failure has exacerbated the club’s toubles in the EPL and the present Champions League edition.

Cisse can just run along the pitch but is not technical. He just loves to have his hair style(?) shown. I would by far have called Mr. Giuly instead!!
