France’s Five Friendlies

A fifth World Cup friendly has been arranged by France as it begins preparations to try to erase its disastrous 2002 performance.

France will face fellow Cup qualifier Saudi Arabia in Lens of June 1. The other friendlies for France:

March 1 – Slovakia
May 27 – Mexico
May 31 – Denmark
June 7 – China

Playing two qualifying teams and three of the best team not to qualify, France should get adequate preparation leading up to Germany assuming its aging players don’t break down before its first match.
