Platini or Zidane that’s a tough one.
I would pick Zidane as a pure footballing talent but I think Platini maybe had more effect as a leader of his team.
Both very successful, if I had to chose I’d go for Zidane at his peak.

Who is the better? Platini or Zidane?

This may also lead to the classical question: Who was France’s best player ever? and we’ll see if we agree….

Thanks for the history lesson. I recently have become fascinated with the 1930 tournament. There are some amazing stories about its creation and how it played out.
