Just go for it

Raymond Domenech is being bullish in the build up to tonight’s quarterfinal with Brazil in Frankfurt.

To him, only winning the World Cup will represent success in Germany for this particular French squad.
‘I am surprised to hear people say that if we lose to Brazil, France has had a good World Cup, I think the opposite’ he’s quoted as saying.

He goes on, ‘Brazil have been considered favourites for 40 years but people have been writing us off as underdogs for 90 years.’
That’s not a bad thing tonight, the pressure will be on Brazil to play Joga Bonita, to step up their game and France can exploit that if they come with the right game plan and everyone switched on like the Spain game.

I don’t expext many changes to the lineup for France this evening, Ribery must have cemented his position in the team.
Brazil are odds on favourites to win, France are 7-2 and if I was betting that’s where my money would be going, France to win 3-2.

Congratulations, now France is a taboo to Brazil.
That bunch of whores deserve end of career. Scolari is much better than Parreira.

Don’t mind losing a little money when a team plays a quality game like that.

I am just glad that the game was interesting. It is one of the few matches this WC that I see a team deserving their win.

If France plays their best they should be able to win the Cup. It would be nice to see Zidane go out on top.

John Watson, what you call “africans” actually come from the french west indies and they’re all french through and through and i could quote Thuram who “is french and proud of it!”

The best team won tonite…now Portugal will be tougher!

Good to see that the Ref from Spain did not take his revenge against France. Infact, it was almost perfect officiating… Except… the Yellow Card to Thuram. It could cost him!!!

SURELY THURAM DID NOT TOUCH RONALDO? DID HE?

It was truly a masterpiece. Great football game, great officiating. Congrat to France and les bleus! Zidane plays better everygame, and I expect him to play even better against portugal! He was amazing!

to John Watson: Do not ever forget why you have a 4th of july, you should display a french flag along yours on that particular day! Anyway Happy 4th…
