Looking for revenge

Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, the President of Brazil, said today on Brazilian radio he hopes his country meets France in the World Cup Final to ‘get even’ for the loss in the 1998 final.

Silva said he told French President Jacques Chirac this when they met last week.
Chirac’s response was to stand up with his arms outstretched and shout ‘et un, et deux, et trois, ZERO.’

He also said that every other president he meets say that they would love to see their team against Brazil.

Lula is convinced that Brazil have what it takes to reach the final and to bring the trophy, but he also admitted that the team must be humble and keep focus.

It would be nice to win over France, but we made many enemies in the last few competitions. Germany want a bite of us. Italians are crazy to revenge 94, Argentineans just hate our team, the Dutch is vorking their voodoo against us too, even the English lock their jaws when they remember Ronaldinho’s goal against Seaman.

I really don’t care who we play, as long as we win! ;)
