Ribery’s got one fan

Chelsea’s Didier Drogba has been giving a glowing talkup of young French midfielder Franck Ribery who’s now starring for Drogba’s old club Marseille.

Drogba told L’Equipe ‘I love him, when I see him communicate with the fans its like looking at myself….he is just phenomenal, really we have to play together.’

There’s been rumours of Drogba returning to Marseille but he wants Chelsea to sign Ribery instead and he thinks Ribery will be in Domenech’s squad saying ‘he will be at the World Cup because he can bring great things to the French side.’

Probably won’t hurt Ribery’s confidence to hear himself talked about like but will it cut any ice with the coach.
