Still a top man

Nike are using Eric Cantona to front a series of eight videos for the World Cup under the title Play Beautiful. In the first one he invades a tv sports studio ‘to remind the world that this game is about skill, heart, honor, joy, team spirit’ and because ‘we’ve let liars and cheaters make a fool of the game’.

It’s pretty funny, Eric gives a passionate speech about the ‘..art and honnar..’ of the game but does it with a twinkle in his eye, the same way he used to celebrate a great goal, not taking himself that seriously.
