That’s the stuff, Franck

If Franck Ribery can reproduce a bit of this Bayern Munich form for France this summer, the Champagne will be flowing.

The Spanish commentary to the first Ribery goal: “Por favor.” Please.

Here’s a link that might work better (that Daily Motion link kept freezing on me) with all 4 of Bayern’s goals from the game.

Here, after Ribery’s first goal, the German commentary turns French: “Formidable, incroyable , superbe, Monsieur Ribery.”

I watched that game in its entirety, as I have been following Bayern regularly this season. Ribery has simply been electric all season long and in this game, when he came on as sub, he transformed the game! He is right now my absolutely favorite player in the world, arrogant and obnoxious Cronaldo can go f–k himself. It’s not only Franck’s skills and talent, it’s his work ethic, his attitude and demeanor on the pitch, his goal celebrations, the way he carries himself. He’s just wonderful to watch. Please dear god, let him make his mark this summer! My only fear (absolutely terrified) is that he’ll go to Chelsea or Man United.

I just saw a rumor that Chelsea was planning a swap — Malouda for Ribery. And Bayern Munich would do this…why, exactly?

No way can I see Franck leaving Bayern Munich. He’s in dreamland at that club.

Just found time to watch the goals. Wow. He’s not kidding when he claims to be the next Zidane, is he?
