Looks like he came into a cosy situation at Lyon. With 4 successive titles behind them when he got there, it seems all he had to do was make sure the team did not self-destruct. Kind of like Phil Jackson with the Lakers (the first time round). Let's see Houllier take a so-so team and make them champions, then I'll tip my hat.
