The players choice

Gregory Coupet has got the big thumbs up from his fellow professionals in Ligue 1 to be the number one choice as national goalkeeper in the World Cup.
L’Equipe did a poll of players from clubs excluding Coupet’s Lyon and Barthez’s Marseille and 69% went for Coupet, pretty resounding in his favour.
Coupet said it’s a great honour and he’s glad to be appreciated by the Ligue 1 players, wonder if that has any influence with Raymond Domenech.
