Wenger for the top job?

February 11th, 2006 | By: Chriso | 2 Comments »

Arsene Wenger has said that he has turned down the chance to be England manager once before and that he thinks the next one should be English.

That’s fair enough but I wonder if Arsene fancies a crack at being the France manager at some point.

As an Arsenal fan I hope it’s not anytime soon but I think Wenger would make a great national team coach and with the quality of players available to him with France would have them playing some really good football. I’d say World Cup 2014 would be a good time for him to get his shot.

Wenger would never be a national coach. He is addict to the daily pressure that only a club can give to him. And don’t worry he will stick to his job as Arsenal boss. I’m saying that because he’s been one of the major actor in the building of a new stadium for the Gunners and is buying so many young players for the future. He’ll go for glory with his team. And if Arsène was an animal I would see him as an eagle, that bird who see from very far and keep his eye focus on his pray which on the case of Wenger it’s dominance of english and european football.
Voilà, voilà Chriso my point of view, I hope it can make you relax concerning the future of Wenger with your team.

Thanks, I’m happy if he stays as manager for another ten years.
