Who’ll get the va-va-voom

There’s been endless speculation since the beginning of the season about the future of Thierry Henry.

He said a few weeks back that he’d like to stay at Arsenal and had made the statement then to stop all the press talk about where he was going and so he’d have a focused mind going into the World Cup, but pointedly said ‘it was up to the club to match his ambition’.

I think a lot of Arsenal fans took this as a sign his mind was far from made up and now Arsene Wenger says in interview with FranceFootball, “I think he will stay,this is my opinion, what I truly believe deep inside.”

Still nothing concrete though , he hasn’t signed and if he let’s it drag on until the World Cup the media are going to be on him all the time with the same question, ‘are you going to Barcelona’.

It would be better for Arsenal, the fans, Arsene Wenger and France if Thierry decided now what he was going to do and if he chooses to leave he would go with everyone’s best wishes.
