Words of wisdom
Ahead of the all or nothing Togo game Raymond Domenech has been making some of his usual idiosyncratic comments.
After denying that there´s any problem between himself and Zinedine Zidane he´s claimed that World Cup referee´s have been giving Switzerland a helping hand in their first two matches.
´The Swiss have been heavily favoured by the referees,´said Domenech ´because there is also the penalty not accorded to Togo, and Patrick Mueller is allowed to play handball inside the area.´
He added ´over the two matches, three decisions have gone against us.´
Sounds like clutching at straws to me.
He also said something bizarre about bringing on Trezeguet and other subs with only a minute or two to play.
´It’s better to stick with a player who is tired, than to bring on someone who wants to be a hero`is how the coach see`s it.
So what`s the point in have a bench full of substitutes, surely when you`re trying to win a game you send them on telling them to go and be hero`s and do something special.
Arsene Wenger has also be sending a little criticism Domenech`s way in regard to how he plays Thierry Henry.
Wenger said´I feel sorry for Thierry because he was left isolated as a lone striker and did not get enough support, I still believe France will go through by beating Togo but they must find the right team and formation quickly.´
´They look like a team which needs confidence and to believe in themselves.`
Not a ringing endorsement from the most high profile French manager in Europe.

I think Silvestre will play instead of Abidal. That would give us more offensiveness on the left wing and more crosses to the center. Trezeguet must start other wise it is useless. I think Ribery is the only man who can replace Zidane. If we succeed with this formation against Togo, that would be the way forward.

France, have great players and great players win games, the reason why this nation is not living up to there talents is because of this stupid coach, I think if they will go far, the players must take it upon themselves.
I feel that at there best it is a very difficult side to beat, I don’t like France but I am honest, they are probably one of the best teams in this tournament and I feel we are about to see it.

Mission Accomplished…….La France 2-0…..
I really liked the team today…although after the 2 goals Domenench turned the Off Switch…I think they should protect the victory but no that much…I beleve France is going to get better…unfortunately now they go agianst Spain one of the best teams in the Cup…but like many people say this is the World Cup and their are no easy rivals…and every game is a diffrent game…and if France plays like they are suppose to (Like today for example) its going to be a good match vs. a Youg excellent Spanish Team…
Happy Birthday VIEIRA….Happy Birthday ZIZOU…Celebrate Bleus…but dont drink too much..jejejeje
I would preserve same line up…I would change Zidane for Ribery and bring in Ribery for Malouda in second half….Silvestre better then Abidal..I believe…and Trezeguet did not score because of fate…but he tried and created lots of opportunites…appart from motorizing the team…Trezeguet should stay defenetly..
So group G did not turn out as easy as predicted….good Korean Side….excellent Switzerland side…Young players…good future for Switzerland.

Well France, this is as far as it goes.
Ribery falls to pieces in front of Goal
Henry Arrogant and really full of himself
Bartez a clown and a bad one
Silvestre A nervous wreck
Trezeguet well words can’t describe how mediocre he is
Spain now play as a team and will destroy you

France Fools No More
These fans could have been a multitude of wandering fools roaming around Germany had France failed to qualify to the next round. The winner of World Cup Finals in 1998 could have sent a brain twisting frustration to it’s fans had they not sha…

As much as I liked Spain’s play in this tournament, it looks like the end will be at the hands of the French. Henry will show Aragones who’s the better player. Believe me guys you will see a man on a mission in that game. Watch out Spain!
