A Little More Sunshine from Lizarazu

January 8th, 2008 | By: Laurie | 3 Comments »

lizarazu2.jpgI love it when the name “Lizarazu” pops up in my inbox. I know it’s going to be something fun. He’s not playing any more, so it won’t be an injury list, or a game recap, or anything normal and boring like that. Instead I get news like the “attempting to make the Olympic team” stuff. Or that happy birthday post.

Or yet another photo from yet another gay website.

What do you think? Is Bixente even more of a gay icon than Beckham?

Here we see how our boy stays in shape and keeps the adrenaline flowing in his post-playing career.

Bixente was a huge gay icon in the late 90s with Dugarry, Ginola and Candela.
Somehow Liza is still up there with the playing ones. I think his wife has also something to do with it, herself being hugely popular with the gay community.

Okay, Liza I can see. Ginola I can definitely see. But Dugarry? Candela? Ew. (Dugarry now, maybe. But not in the hair days.)

You’d be surprised. In the hair days at Bordeaux, I remember he was the talk of a lot of women.
