Move Over, Zizou. Raymond’s Found a New Guy

Remember these music videos? I came across a new one the other day and couldn’t resist sharing, though some of you may have already seen this one.

“Un Raymond d’Amitié: Raymond et Yoann” – Zizou is replaced in Raymond’s heart.

nasri should be crying that his almost-fixed position and ‘new-zidane’ title is grabbed away by this gourcuff

Nasri is playing on the wing more these days anyway. If there’s anyone who deserves a lot of sympathy, it’s Florent Malouda. Especially as he’s no longer a chum of Domenech’s, and while he is doing a lot better at Chelsea this season, I think he could have earned his last cap already. Domenech has a wealth of offense at his disposal. Benzema is dominating again, Ben Arfa was monstrous against PSV, we could go on, but if we’re not doing well internationally, Ray is truly to blame.

Ha! I saw this and tried to post it, but the embed code wouldn’t work for me. Glad you were able to make it happen. :-)

Nasri had himself a game yesterday.

That he did, Jean-Michel. And Anelka had himself one today. (Wait. Handball? Who said handball?) And Ben Arfa keeps having himself some games, too, despite his little snits.

I’m thinking if we could just find ourselves some defense, we could be a force to be reckoned with.

So I guess the question now is who should be on the left side of our midfield? Malouda, Ben Arfa, Nasri, Alou Diaby (why not? just trying to keep our options open)? The defense is difficult. Should we get rid of Gallas? Clichy has done the job and looks solid @ Arsenal. Sagna’s crosses in the box need fine tuning but he’s still very good. What ever happened to the Seville defender & Squilacci? The list comes out next week and the offense is looking more and more potent.

I love his dual use eyebrows! God how dirty this is ♥ This Yoann’s voice is so apt. Gourcuff’s voice can make me laugh from a mile away depending how squeaky it is :)

Alou Diarra is amazing. No doubt. I hope Toto gets called up ’cause I miss him ):

Laurie,
Speaking of Nico’s double, I couldn’t find the goals anywhere, it seems Youtube and Dailymotion forbid highlights. Every time I click on something, it’s a still picture with a crappy link – sometimes to a porn site, but I didn’t think Anelka did that kind of highlights.

Domenech said that there would be surprises on the call up list, including players who have never been called up before. I’m guessing Steve Savidan maybe, he’s been doing amazingly well at Caen.

I hope they call Bodmer. Someone here suggested that he could play in central defense and I think that is a great idea. I also think Mexes should get another chance and hopefully Flamini gets to play for once. I think Flamini and Toulalan will be a force to be reckoned with. As far as fowards maybe Menez will be making an appearance. I’m tired of seeing Jimmy Briand or whoever when Menez is an obvious choice for France. He will be a plus for this team…I hope. Ok two questions, does France have a game comming up and if so against who, and what happened to Clerc? Is he still injured?

Bodmer and Clerc are still injured. As for Menez, I think he’s injured as well. And anyway, he hasn’t been that great with Roma and hardly plays these days. He might be returning to France in January.
