Wasn't it after the Roma-Lyon match that reports came out about Abidal suffering racial abuse from the Roma team? And why would Abidal want to go to Roma? But I guess he's worried that if he doesn't leave now, he'll won't get the same offers. At least he was practical enough to admit that Lyon would get a good deal of money too. I'm not going to cry about Abidal. He's been wanting to leave since last year, and we all saw it coming. It's probably why Lyon found his replacement first.
