More Trézéguet Drama: Would YOU Cheat on This Woman?

March 13th, 2007 | By: Laurie | 9 Comments »

Poor David Trézéguet. It’s not enough that he barely plays in World Cup. Or that he misses THE penalty shot. Or that his club gets demoted. Or that he’s not playing that great this year. Or that he can no longer count on a spot on the National Team. Or that he’s just been given a three-match suspension for violent conduct.

No, not nearly enough. So let’s throw some blackmail into the mix.

According to La Gazetto Della Sport, (and thanks to my intrepid sister-in-blog Martha at Italy Offside) Trézéguet forked over 25,000 Euros to keep compromising photos out of the papers. What were these photos? Well, brace yourself. He was….with a woman not his wife!!

I know! Unprecedented for a footballer!

And the saddest part is, it would have worked, except that these guys got greedy and tried the same trick with some other footballers and got caught. And the Trézéguet thing came up in the investigation and got leaked to the press.

So not only is he out the 25,000 Euros, his wife now knows. Talk about a serious run of bad luck!

I have to ask you, though. Take a look at these photos. (Click on the picture for a larger version.) Trézéguet’s wife is Béa, the blonde. (The brunette is Thierry Henry’s wife, Claire.) Seriously, guys. Would YOU cheat on this woman?

Isn’t cheating allowed if you’re French? :-)

Laurie, they’re men. They’re rich. The sky is blue. They cheat.

Hell no, but I’m a dependable holding midfielder. Strikers can’t stop trying to go for goals. That’s just the way it goes.

Honestly, judging by that last shot, they look pretty close to cheating themselves (not that either Trez or Henry could possibly mind).

Re. the last phoot. They are French. Standard friend greeting between a man and a woman is 3 alternating cheek kisses. Standard friend greeting between women is much much more!

In southern Brazil it’s the same thing: 3 kisses on alternating cheeks - in the rest of Brazil, it’s just 2
