Thierry’s a “Fashion Ambassador”!! (But It’s For Charity, So It’s Okay)

I have to admit, I grew up yelling, “Third base is the fence post, home plate is the tree root” and trying unsuccessfully to make Barbie ride horses, so I kind of missed that whole fashion-and-accessories thing. So maybe somebody else can explain to me what, exactly, a “Fashion Ambassador” does? I’m trying really hard not to envision Thierry Henry and Tommy Hilfiger visiting third-world countries to give those poor, fashion-deprived people tips on how to use their $1 daily per capita income to look really, really fine.
But the title of my article says, “Henry focuses on charity,” so it has to be a good thing, right? And when I visit this site, it says, “Hilfiger plans to put out a men’s collection inspired by Henry for the fall 2007 season, with all profits going to The One 4 All Foundation, a charity that aims to fight racism.” So that sounds totally okay.
Also. Watch this video. Is anybody else seeing maybe a different side to our Titi? With perhaps a seed or two of humility having taken root? Let’s all hope. Because although I will admit to a certain gleeful, guilty pleasure in writing about that whole “character of a pig” thing, like any (Unofficial Team) Mom, I want the best for all my boys.
Plus, like Daddy Domenech, I really do hope that things get patched up soon for the sake of my beloved Bleus.
(Wait a second, if he’s Daddy, as Unofficial Team Mom does that make me…? Oh, ick.)

Luis, I had to go back to my original article. I thought at first that you were talking about Titi, and I was thinking, “Well, that’s a little harsh.” But oh, wait, no. I get it now. And you’re right.
