Happy Birthday, Patrick Vieira and Zinedine Zidane

Does it amaze anybody else that two great French footballing talents share the same birthday? It also amazes me that when I went into Wikipedia to doublecheck my dates, Zidane’s age had already been changed. I find it kind of frightening that there are some in this world more obsessive that I.

Patrick Vieira turns 31 today, and Zinedine Zidane turns 35.

And this is me, bowing down in happy gratitude to the gods of June 23.

Rumors are afoot that now with Arsenal’s bank account fattened with Henry’s blood money transfer fee, Wenger may go for Malouda.

Let’s hope! Anything to see him away from Chelsea.

Happy birthday to two of the world’s finest players of the last 15 years! And yes, I am very much in mourning over Titi’s departure from my beloved Arsenal. Devastated, tho not too surprised. And I would welcome Anelka with open arms.
