I’m Off to Paris!
I’m heading out for Paris early tomorrow with my ticket to France-Scotland clutched in my hot little hand.
If you know of anyplace fun in the city to watch Saturday’s Italy-France, post in the comments. I’ll try to post periodically from France, but I’m not taking my laptop, so I’ll be relying on internet cafe-type places.
I’ll think of you next Wednesday.

You will love Paris, the city is great, the people are vey nice & the food is excellent. We go to Europe every year, unfortunately, we do not know internet cafes.
Bon Voyage

I would venture to say that nearly any bar with a TV will have the game on. Personally I would go for 5th-6th arrondissement, but I am a sucker for Saint-Germain-des-Prés area and would stake out a good bar there.

Have a great stay in France! I’m not from Paris so I can’t reaaly think of a place but I guess the neighborhood cafés would work. I hope you enjoyed the rough game which resulted in a pretty good tie for us.
As a Frenchman living in the US I could only hear the game on webradio, but I’d love to see some highlights! The ones I saw only showed Italian opportunities. If you know where I could find some good ones on the web, please let me know. Thanks!

the site is in french, but the videos are in italian, and the resume video is heavily biased as it is RAI. I watched the entire game and there is no way italy could be declared victors (unless playing their normal all defense no offense is winning).
