A Little Late, But Worth The Wait

FIFA 2006Okay, so yes, Thierry Henry should probably have been on the podium as a FIFA Player of the Year finalist instead of Zidane. But if that had been the case, we never would have been able obtain a definitive answer to the question that so many of us have been pondering for so long:

How much spectacular baldness can be crammed into ten square feet?

The answer, of course, is: About this much. Any more and I think we’d see some spontaneous combustion.

(Personal note: My flight to Denver was delayed four days (yes, four days), but I am finally getting out tomorrow. (YEA!!) I’ll try to slip in to post a couple of year-in-review videos over the next week and will be back posting Bleus News regularly as year-end approaches. Happy Holidays!)

Bald is the new Black, yo. Except when under heavy stadium lights and buckets of sweat, in which case it’s more Emancipated Cancer Patient than Badass and Shampoo Saving. Zizou is one tan away from being my prom date. ONE TAN, PLEASE.

Your blog has made my season all the more shinier. Thank you for writing up such fun, intelligent posts. I wish you all the best kinda website traffic in the new year and loads of stories like ‘Domenech Roasts Makelele Over Open Fire’ and ‘Henry Exposed: Naughty Tales of The Melon Enorme’. Happy holidays darling!

Curry, I love your article ideas. My hopes are high for 2007.

And for the record, I appreciate you just as much. You have no idea how nice it is to have intelligent folk who are actual France fans posting (humorous and intelligent) comments so that I know my posts aren’t just disappearing into the void…

Enjoy your holidays!!
