Materazzi’s a lowlife scumbag who deliberately and with calculation repeatedly hurls personal obscenities at the final of a world cup — such a class act

What Materazzi did to Zidane is a perfect revenge for the unjust victory France had over Italy a few tournaments beforehand. 5 minutes stoppage time? There should have been a minute maximum. What goes around comes around.

Zidane exemplifies the French arrogance. They think they’re the best in the world. Italy and Materazzi proved them wrong. Poetic justice: Materazzi equalises, then gets the overrated French cretin sent off. Italy then win the World Cup for the 4th time! Doesn’t get much better.

I think Zidane is a great player but he’s an arrogant jerk and Matarazzi is a goof ball who got assaulted by an arrogant jerk who can dish it out but cannot take it and that’s as simple as it gets. Stop making excuses for this ill-tempered rich man because there are no excuses. If our children lose their temper and hit someone because they were called a few names don’t we punish them? Than why is it we make excuses for a 30 year old who acts like a child? You guys should find better role models..

Zidane was inarguably one of the greatest all time footballers. Anyone who followed his career knows he gave as good as he got with regards to trash talking. So what he did at the WC was inexcusable especially when we found out what was said was not of a racist nature.

The Matrix is not profiting from the book. In fact all proceeds from Materazzi’s book go to charity.

To this day I am surprised that a man like Zidane has yet to apologise to Materazzi for his actions. I always found it ironic how Matrix was made to be the bad guy when he was assaulted.

Everyone wanted Zidane to leave the game on a high note. However that didn’t happen and he self destructed. It is a great deal easier for Zizou fans to blame Materazzi for this than put the blame were it really lies, at Zizou’s feet.

You all should be honored to see the great playing of ZZ. He contributed so much to the game of soccer and just because he did one mistake, thats all everyone is going to remember him for? Shows how ignorant you all are. As for Materazzi, hes a lame excuse for a soccer player. If his strategy to win is to talk trash to other players, then he is playing the wrong sport. Not to mention he is trying to make money off Zidane…how pathetic.

nope he is a smart man. He scored the tying goal in the final, got zidane a red card, and made a penalty. This disgrace of a soccer players will be remembered forever. That is what soccer has come down to. Its sad.
