Squad to face Brazil

Laurent Blanc called up his first squad for 2011. I would have to say its relatively unsurprising. Here is the list:

Gardiens : Carrasso, Lloris, Mandanda
Défenseurs : Abidal, Clichy, Koscielny, Mexès, Rami, Réveillère, Sagna, Sakho
Milieux de terrain : Cabaye, Diaby, A. Diarra, Gourcuff, M’Vila, Malouda, Matuidi
Attaquants : Benzema, Gameiro, Hoarau, Rémy, Menez

The biggest exclusion is Samir Nasri, he is out with a Hamstring Injury. Which is a shame because he is in really good form and he would really have given the Brazil defense a scare.

Laurent Koscielny has finally been called up, is his international dream about to come true? I’m sure Polish fans have a lot to say about him.

Its also interesting to see Matuidi, Menez, and Cabaye in the squad. I hope Blanc takes full advantage of substitutions. I want to see 17 different players hit the pitch.
